KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that there is a possibility of amending the Constitution.

Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Friday, he said that certain things had to be amended and the constitution would be amended as and when required. He made it clear that amendments will be made if everyone thinks it is necessary.

Chairman Deuba said that the current constitution is inclusive and will be amended to make the proportionality even better. He said that the proportionality would also be further studied and revised for their inclusion as there were those who could not win the election. He said that he would also make better amendments in other matters to amend the basic elements of the Constitution.

He said that the flaws in the constitution would be corrected and democracy and human rights would be the first priority. He said that a more progressive democratic society should be established in comparison to other countries. “He said,” “There are certain things that can be amended in the Constitution.” If many things are needed, everyone can make amends. ”

President Deuba said that by making democracy, democracy and republic permanent, the people should be able to win more support and trust. He said that Nepal should be made poverty-free and inclusive by working with everyone.
